  • COMBA Construction College
    10 week course begins August 25.  The course will meet every Thursday from
    6 to 8 pm.
     

    The COMBA Construction College is scheduled to start on August 25. Executives from the Smoot Construction will teach both blueprint reading and estimating classes during the 10 week course.  The Construction College will provide instruction on how a construction project is managed from start to finish.  Topics of training will include: estimating, scheduling, insurance and bonding, safety and field operations, accounting basics for construction contractors and bid preparation.  Participants are required to take a mandatory blueprint reading course. 
    
    The blue print reading course will meet on August, 10, 11, 17 and 18 from 6 to 8 pm.
